Flirty Mezcal Margarita
Spice your margaritas with Dona Flirt Tea
Meet your forever marg. It's smokey from the mezcal, citrusy from the hibiscus & lime, and flirty because it we <3 the color. Drink this drink all summer long.
For the Flirt simple syrup
- 100 g Dona Flirt Herbal Tea
- 32 oz water
- 4 cups (800 grams) sugar
For the margarita
- 1 oz flirt simple syrup
- 1/2 oz Mezcal
- 1/2 oz Tequila
- 1/2 oz Triple Sec (this Triple Sec is the best)
- squeeze of Lime
Directions
- To make the Flirt simple syrup, bring water + Dona Flirt tea to a simmer.
- Turn the heat off and steep for 4-5 minutes. Strain & add sugar. Stir until the sugar has completely dissolved. Cool.
- Combine the mezcal, tequila, triple sec, squeeze of lime, & 1oz of the Flirt simple syrup in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake, then pour into a salt rimmed glass.
