Cold Brew Tea Recipes

Cold brew your teas and never look back. Why we recommend it: cold brewing extracts flavor while leaving any bitterness or astringency behind. And, it's the easiest thing on the planet. Here are three teas ideal for cold brewing:

Marrakesh Black Tea

black tea + mint

Why this flavor is great: The mint/black tea combo is possibly the most refreshing way to get your caffeine fix.

  • 12 g(3 T) Marrakesh Tea Loose Leaf (or 4 tea sachets)
  • 32 oz cold water

To make: combine tea & cold water in a pitcher. Place the mixture in the fridge. Steep overnight or for at least 6 hours. Strain & serve over ice.

The Field Herbal Tea

elderflower + fennel + chamomile + mint

Although chamomile tea is typically considered a hot bev, it has a surprisingly sweet quality when iced. It lends its honey-like flavor to the flowery blend. Translation: the cold brew version of this tea tastes like a beautiful spring field with notes of honey.

  • 10 g(4 T) The Field Tea Loose Leaf (or 4 tea sachets)
  • 32 oz cold water

To make: combine tea & cold water in a pitcher. Place the mixture in the fridge. Steep overnight or for at least 6 hours. Strain & serve over ice.

Flirt Herbal Tea

hibiscus + licorice root + chamomile + mint

We've been flirting with these flavors for a while now. Sweet licorice root & honey-like chamomile play perfectly with the tartness of hibiscus flowers.

  • 10 g(4 T) Flirt Tea Loose Leaf (or 4 tea sachets)
  • 32 oz cold water

To make: combine tea & cold water in a pitcher. Place the mixture in the fridge. Steep overnight or for at least 6 hours. Strain & serve over ice.
